PCB Assembly

Where should I store PCB?

First, we should keep them from long-run touch with air and water.

Second, the vacuum packing of the PCB can’t be damaged. PCB vacuum packaging can prevent the welding pad from moisture oxidation and layering foaming.

Third, we need to store them in a dry and ventilated place. Attention please! Cover them from direct sunlight.

Fourth, the ideal temperature of the warehouse is 23 ± 3 ℃, 55 ± 10% RH.

  • Under such conditions, PCBs with floor remedies such as immersion gold, electro-gold, tin spray, and silver plating can usually be saved for 6 months.
  • Surface PCB boards such as Shen Tin and OSP can usually be saved for 3 months.

Fifth, it is good if the PCB manufacturer paints a three-proof layer on it, which can prevent moisture, dust, and oxidation.

  • In this way, PCB will keep well for about 9 months.
