How do I design a PCB when the components used in the design are not available in PCB designing tools such as Eagle CAD?

I had some troubles when I design PCB by Eagle. There is no exactly the component which I required. How can I go through my PCB design?

It is completely possible to add a component, the library of which doesn’t exist in EAGLE. We will mention a few methods to do so.

1.Search for component library on EAGLE’s website

2.Download and add component library
This should be your first option when you’re sure that the component library doesn’t exist in EAGLE or their website.

a)Search “<component name> eagle library” on Google which will provide a few important links to websites which may provide you with the library.

b) Element14, Github, DIY modules will provide most of the common libraries.

c) Download them and add in the library folder of EAGLE.

d) Update the library using “Library” tab and use it.

3. Design component footprint on EAGLE

How to handle feedline of bluetooth PCB connected to a 2.4GHz chip antenna?

I’m making a 4 layer PCB prototype that uses a bluetooth mcu connected to a 2.4GHz chip antenna. I’m thinking about what to do with the feedline, whether it should be buried on one of the middle layers, or left on the top layer. To get a 50 ohm line, should I choose top layer with 13-mil width or buried miccrostrip with 7-mild width?
