Welke soldeerboutpunt moet ik gebruiken??

All of the soldering I've done to this point has been with through-hole components. Ik hoop op een bepaald moment in de toekomst over te stappen op enkele kleinere onderdelen voor opbouwmontage. I've got a Weller WES51 soldering station. There is a large number of ET series tips available. How do I choose the right tip for the components I'll be working with?
  • Jij kan, in feite, solder a 0.4mm pitch TQFP with a tip that spans several pins, such as the ETA you mention, but it takes a lot more skill and flux.If you’re doing mostly through-hole components, the ETA is perfectly fine.
  • I’m also doing SMT and very fine SMT work, so I also purchased the 0.030and 0.015conical tips. I use these under a microscope to do the 0.4mm (about 0.016″) pitch TQFP chips.
  • It is worthwhile getting the biggest chisel tip jij kan, ook, for the occasional need to deal with soldered heat sinks or parts soldered to ground planes or PCB heat sinks. These can pump all 40+ watts of your iron into the joint, allowing you to remove it without heating the component up too much.

Remark: Keep in mind that typical wet sponge tip cleaners can lower the tip’s temperature significantly, especially with the small tips.

How can I electrically isolate a PCB from a heat sink?

I have a set of LED driving lights for motorcycle that must be wired through a ground-leg pulse width modulation dimmer. The problem is the mounting bracket for the lights is grounded, so the lamp shorts to ground through the motorcycle chassis and the PWM dimmer cant dim the lamps. How do I handle this problem?

How do you mount electronics on a vehicle chassis safely?

I want to implement a control system I designed for a light electric motorbike. I would like to mount it as professionally as possible on the chassis. It consists of a power system pcb and a SAMC21 development board which I’ll merge later once this all works properly. I have tried screwing it directly on the aluminium chassis but have found that shocks and vibrations from the horn disturbed the system or even destroyed it upon large shocks. Is there a specific way car and motorcycle manufacturers mount their electronics to make their system as robust as possible?
