What are molex connectors? What are they used for?

My PCBA supplier use molex connectors on the samples order. What are they? What does they feature?

Molex is actually a brand name, it’s a company that makes inexpensive nylon plastic-bodied connectors.

They are generally used for internal connections in electronic equipment. It plays a role in connecting components. It can be mounted on the ends of multiple wire bundles or on PCBs by soldering.

Its Pins and sockets are made of inexpensive stamped steel and brass. It can be crimped rapidly by semi-automated machinery to wire ends so as to insert into the mating connectors, soldered and PCB.

How can I connect my small PCB with sensor to the bigger PCB?

My small PCB is mounting a very sensitive fragile sensor on the top surface that has to be wire bonded to the PCB, so I am trying to design a smaller PCB that can be surface mounted to the bigger PCB. How can I get some kind of thin footprint for interconnecting the two PCB boards?

How can I fix the PCB to the mechanical structure?

I designed a PCB with an imaging sensor that is mechanically coupled to a lens assembly using four 2-56 schroeven. I’m noticing that even though the screws are holding the board tightly against the mechanical structure if I flick or lightly knock the the assembly the imagemoves”. I’m hoping to get a few suggestions for ways to fix the PCB to the mechanical structure. Any suggestions for adhesives or the like? Something else?

How do you mount electronics on a vehicle chassis safely?

I want to implement a control system I designed for a light electric motorbike. I would like to mount it as professionally as possible on the chassis. It consists of a power system pcb and a SAMC21 development board which I’ll merge later once this all works properly. I have tried screwing it directly on the aluminium chassis but have found that shocks and vibrations from the horn disturbed the system or even destroyed it upon large shocks. Is there a specific way car and motorcycle manufacturers mount their electronics to make their system as robust as possible?
