Is it better to have round corners on a PCB?

  • Consider whether it is necessary to make round corners to fit in your product shells.
  • If you want to pay for them. You can have any shape you like, at a similar price.

In het algemeen, PCBs are made by a big sheet of fiberglass, followed by line scoring. When they come to assembly line, they will be broken up along the scored lines which are generally straight lines.

If you want rounded corners, or some other shape, the PCBs have to go to an extra process on another machine. Dus, it required extra cost.
