MOKO Conformal Coating

MOKO has provided conformal coating services for about 16 years, which helps our customers protect printed circuit boards and other electronic parts to lengthen the lifecycle of products. We use advanced equipment to apply a thin and light coating to isolate moisture, heat, dust, chemical corrosion and physical shock. Our conformal coating is featured with high precision and repeatability, as the machine is controlled by computers that can put the coating in specified areas.

We offer broad material portfolios for conformal coatings to achieve different properties such as waterproofing, heat-resistance. And we have experts in this area who would work with you closely to make sure the success of your projects. Currently, we have happy clients in different industries including aerospace, medical, consumer electronics, etc.

Why Choose MOKO for Conformal Coating?

In-house Conformal Coating

MOKO applies all conformal coatings in-house, which means that we can control the process and quality. We have a professional and strict quality control team that gives us the confidence to guarantee the quality of products. In addition, we are certified with ISO9001:2015, so our conformal coating service can always meet international standards.

Extensive Experience

We have more than 10 years of experience in conformal coating and accumulated many project experiences. We are capable of providing workable solutions for you as we understand this technique and the properties of different materials, and our workers are proficient who know how to run machines efficiently. From low to high volume production runs, MOKO can handle them with a short turnaround time.

The First-class Facility

Our conformal coating facility is well equipped, we keep updating our machines and internal process as well. Now, we have industry-leading conformal coating machines that allow us to apply the coating with a high degree of precision. On the other hand, advanced machines can also improve production efficiency, making sure that we can always catch your project schedule.

Various Materials Available

MOKO offers a wide range of material options for our customers, different materials and material combinations can achieve different functions. What is Conformal Coating

Conformal coating is a process that keeps electronic components away from unfavorable factors such as moisture, corrosion, and heat. And it can ultimately lengthen the lifespan of devices. Each component like diodes, capacitors, fuses plays an important role, if one of them is damaged, then the whole device would fail. It can be applied both manually and automatically, the coating is thin and light,  normally, the thickness of it is of a range from 25 to 250 microns. Its texture can be hard and rubbery, which depends on the material used. Commonly used materials for conformal coating include acrylics, polyurethanes, silicons, epoxy, and resins.

The Advantages of Conformal Coating:

  • Reduce conductor spacing by over 80%
  • Reduce the need for complex enclosures
  • Lightweight, thin, and high flexibility
  • Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance capabilities
  • Easy to remove, repair and replace
  • Great thermal and mechanical shock resistance properties

Different Types of Conformal Coatings

Acrylic Coating: Acrylic coatingis suitable for repair work, as it can be dissolved easily in many organic solvents. Our acrylic coating is featured with longer pot life that can isolate fungus and humidity very well.

Parylene Coating: Paryleneis consists of linear and crystalline shaped polymers, and parylene coating is a clear polymer film that is well-suited in a vacuum environment.

Polyurethane Coating: Polyurethane coating is characterized by strong chemical resistance and excellent dielectric properties. Our polyurethane coating can be applied in a single component, two components, UV curable, and waterborne systems.

Epoxy Resin Coating: Epoxy resincoating has properties of good chemical and moisture resistance.

Silicone Coating: Silicone coating is soft, transparent and flexible that offers excellent corrosion and chemical resistance. It is suitable for high impedance circuitry thanks to the low dissipation factor.
