How long should it take to charge for new watches?

I bought 20 watches samples from a PCBA factory and plan to do some test on them. However, there is no power in its original state. How long should it take to charge for the watches in its original state?

In common, it took about five minutes for a original new watch to start charging. So please wait with patience. You can also ask for a charging instruction video from the supplier. This will be very useful.

What kinds of test is suitable for low volume PCB order?

I’ve ordered fabrication and assembly of small PCB batches (100pcs) a couple of times already. Each time the factory asked me if I want to do test on the PCB. But I don’t what to do about it. And I test them by myself. Then, the result of the testing is unacceptable with 15% soldering problems. So bad. I think I will ask the supplier to test them before delivery.

Why do some through-hole LEDs have flared leads?

I have worked with many through-hole LEDs over the years. I ordered a bunch for a personal project. I did not notice they have flared leads until I used them. I’ve never encountered these flared leads before. What is their purpose?
