How do I find a PCB schematics for a device?

We are new brand of medical device. We are doing a device development recently. How can we find PCB schematics for reference?

Schematics don’t do you much good on today’s high-tech electronics. Most high-tech electronics nowadays use custom chips or FPGAs so a schematic that shows all the signals going in and out of a magic proprietary chip won’t do you any good.

A lot of lower-tech components that perhaps use discrete parts, relays, discrete resistors, etc. do have schematics on the inside of the case or available online.

What Others Are Asking

How is the panel separated after assembly?

I need to design LED tube PCB and is only 20mm wide, so there will be at least 10 pieces next to each other on one panel. The assembly house warned me, that it is not the same to separate these as it is with standard PCBs. How are these made to be separated?

How can I fix the PCB to the mechanical structure?

I designed a PCB with an imaging sensor that is mechanically coupled to a lens assembly using four 2-56 screws. I’m noticing that even though the screws are holding the board tightly against the mechanical structure if I flick or lightly knock the the assembly the image “moves”.  I’m hoping to get a few suggestions for ways to fix the PCB to the mechanical structure. Any suggestions for adhesives or the like? Something else?
