Is it better to have round corners on a PCB?

When I visit the PCB showroom in factory, I find that there are some pcs with round corners. Is it better to have round corners on a PCB?

Consider whether it is necessary to make round corners to fit in your product shells.
If you want to pay for them. You can have any shape you like, at a similar price.

Generally speaking, PCBs are made by a big sheet of fiberglass, followed by line scoring. When they come to assembly line, they will be broken up along the scored lines which are generally straight lines.

If you want rounded corners, or some other shape, the PCBs have to go to an extra process on another machine. Thus, it required extra cost.

How can I handle missing solder mask opening on PCB footprint?

I have three through-hole PCBs that are missing front and back solder mask openings for two of the components. The solder mask (usually green) is covering the front and back solder pads. All other pads for all other parts are exposed. Is there a good way to remove the solder mask so that I can solder the components to the board?
