Electronic Design Services

Drawing on MOKO’s rich experience and high level of expertise in electronic design to convert your idea into a production-ready design.

Our Electronic Design Services

PCB Design& Layout

As a PCB design specialist, MOKO is able to design PCBs of different types and materials. From single-layer double-layer to complex multi-layer PCBs, from FR4 PCBs to metal core PCBs, you can always count on us for the most reliable PCB designs.

Power Electronics Design

With years of electrical engineering experience, MOKO can develop hardware and firmware for power supplies, motor controllers, and other power electronics systems. In addition, we can design or redesign the firmware to improve the performance of the device according to the requirements of different power, voltage, and frequency ranges.

Embedded Hardware Design

MOKO has a team of professional embedded engineers who master the most advanced technology in the field of electronic design. So we have the ability to provide embedded hardware development services for embedded systems of varying degrees of complexity, helping customers build secure and cost-effective embedded systems.

Simulation Service

The simulation services we provide are an important part of electronic design services, helping us ensure that a circuit or mechanical part is functioning to specification before it is built. For example, by simulating the circuit, we can check thermal properties, electromagnetic compatibility, and electrical properties such as voltage, frequency, load power, etc.

Electronic Design Capabilities at MOKO

Our Proven Electronic Design Cases

Smart Sensor PCBA Board

Our customer asked for a CO2 and NH3 sensor. So, we incorporated an IR sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer, ToF & GD sensor, a light sensor, and a PIR motion detector. We provided our expertise in mass production, schematics, and software design.

6-axis Sensor BLE PCBA

The customer requested that the voltage output follows a real-time specific waveform and has a 6-axis G sensor. So, we helped them with schematics, firmware, enclosure design, SDK, and mass production.

ESP32 + LoRa Control Board

Our customer asked us to incorporate LoRa technology and ESP32 to monitor energy. They also asked us to integrate the setup with their cloud server. Hence, we helped them with SDK, schematics, mass production, and relevant certification.

Electronic Design FAQs

Electronic design refers to a process that creates and develops electronic circuits, systems, and devices to achieve target functions.

Electrical design relates more to power systems and distribution networks which usually entail higher voltage and current values. This is all about gadgets that transform electrical power to other useful forms such as heat, light, sound etc. Electronic design, on the other hand, focuses on the smaller-scale circuits and systems that handle electrical signals.

The main steps include the following: requirements analysis, concept design, modeling and simulation, circuit board design, prototype development, testing and evaluation, design optimization, and final certification.

First, be sure to find out what standards applicable to the industry (FCC, CE, UL etc.) should be followed and include compliance aspect into the design. Then, pre-compliance testing should be done in accredited laboratories. Last, it is necessary to keep the records and properly label it to meet regulatory requirements.

Some of the tests include In-Circuit Testing (ICT), Functional Testing, Flying Probe Testing and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).

On average, the electronic design project within MOKO Technology takes approximately between 6 weeks and up to 12 weeks.

We provide a wide range of electronic services such as schematic design, PCB layout, power electronics design, embedded hardware design, prototyping, and testing services.

Yes, MOKO Technology provides prototype services with the electronic design. Our services start from the design phase up to the creation of prototypes and mass production.

Yes, we can help the clients with regulatory concerns for electronic products by offering information on relevant regulations. Additionally, we ensure that our designs are created with regulatory compliance in mind.

Yes, MOKO Technology is engaged in developing fully integrated solutions, aside from PCB design and component selection, we offer firmware and embedded systems design as well.
